Form No. 30043 57-06 Ordinance No. Passed . 20 AN ORDINANCE TO CHANGE THE NAME OF TAMWORTH PLACE TO BRANDBURY PLACE IN THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO WHEREAS, the City requests that the street name for Tamworth Place, platted with Brandon Section 1, Phase 2, be changed to Brandbury Place, as platted with Brandon Section 3; and WHEREAS, the Division of Engineering and Division of Police have reviewed this request and determined such action would not be detrimental to the public health, welfare or safety. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That the name of Tamworth Place is hereby changed to Brandbury Place. Section 2. That the City Engineer is hereby directed to have the plat corrected to conform to these changes. Section 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by law. Passed this ~ day of Q~fi©~ 2006. Yorko, P.E., Civil Engineer Re: Ordinance 57-Q6 Requesting Approval to Change the Name of Tamworth Place to Brandbury Place in the City of Dublin, Ohio Summary The Division of Engineering, along with support from the Division of Police, proposes to change the street name of Tamworth Place to Brandbury Place. Two lots were platted on Tamworth Place with Brandon Section 1, Phase 2. Brandon Section 3 was platted as Brandbury Place, and the portion of the road that was platted Tamworth Place was not changed. Both plats are attached for reference and are highlighted for clarity. The address numbers for the two homes are correct and will not be affected by this change. This ordinance creates the legal documentation to support the road name currently being used for signage and addresses.
