AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE
COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA HOUSING
COUNCIL AND AMENDING ORDINANCE 18-96
(AMENDED)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 3735.69 of the Ohio Revised Code, a
Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council for the City of Dublin was
established with the creation of the Britton Parkway Community Reinvestment
Area; and
WHEREAS, the Community Reinvestment Area Housing Council shall make an
annual inspection of properties within an area for which an exemption has been
granted under Section 3735.67 of the Ohio Revised Code to ensure compliance
that structures have been maintained and meet standards; and
WHEREAS, the Housing Council shall also hear appeals as provided under
Section 3735.70 of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, initial appointments were made in Ordinance 18-96(Amended) and
reappointments are needed for the Community Reinvestment Area Housing
Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 2_ of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The Chair of the Finance Committee of City Council and the Chair
of the Community Development Committee of Council are hereby confirmed as
City Council representatives to the Housing Council.
Section 2. The Director of Public Service and the Director of Finance of the
City of Dublin are hereby appointed as the Mayor's appointments to the
Housing Council.
Section 3. The Vice Chairperson of Planning and Zoning Commission is
hereby confirmed as the Planning & Zoning Commission appointment to the
Housing Council.
Section 4. The length of terms for the members appointed herein shall be for
three years.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on the earliest date
permitted by law.
