AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND
BEST BID FOR THE CITY OF DUBLIN
FLEET CENTER FLOOR PROJECT
WHEREAS, after advertising and receiving bids on August 24, 2004 for the City of
Dublin Fleet Center Floor Project, Council has determined that the bid submitted by
F1orLine Midwest in the amount of $67,852.00 is the lowest and best bid for the
project; and
WHEREAS, this project is included in the 2004 Operating Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid submitted by F1orLine Midwest in the amount of
$67,852.00 for the City of Dublin Fleet Center Floor Project is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for
the project as listed above, and as specified within the bid proposal and the City's
bid documents on file in the Division of Grounds and Facilities.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force in accordance with
Section 4.04(a) of the Dublin City Charter.

RE: Dublin Fleet Center Floor Project
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, August 24, 2004 bids were opened for the Dublin Fleet Center Floor Project.
The budgeted amount for this project is $88,000, which is included in the 2004 Operating
Budget. The estimated cost for this project was $88,000.
Two (2) bids were received.
Base Bid
1). CP[ Industrial Co. $78,750.00
2). F1orLine Midwest $67,852.00
This project consists of the materials and labor for the installation of a troweled on epoxy floor.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff is recommending adoption of Ordinance No. 61-04, accepting F1orLine Midwest's base
bid in the amount of $67,852.00. FlorLine Midwest has received satisfactory references for
similar type projects.
