The budgeted amount for this project is $220,000, which is included in the 2004 Capital Improvement Program. The estimated cost for this project was $270,000. The original budget of $220,000 was based upon a 2,000 square foot addition. During Plan development, it was determined that an additional 300 square feet was warranted based upon need. We also did not anticipate that the existing grease interceptor would be in the way of the new addition. This required relocation added costs to the project. Staff went forward with a bid to insure needs were met with the hope of obtaining more competitive bids this time of year. Nine (9) bids were received.
