AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING AND ENACTING A
SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES
FOR THE CITY OF DUBLIN, OHIO
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio has
completed the current supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dublin
which contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted subsequent
to the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Dublin; and
WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation has recommended the revision
or addition of certain sections of the Code of Ordinances which are based on or make
reference to sections of the Ohio Revised Code; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Legislative Authority to accept these updated
sections in accordance with the changes of the law of the State of Ohio.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the current supplement to the Dublin Code of Ordinances as
submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and as
attached thereto, be and the same hereby is adopted by reference as if set out in its
entirety.
SECTION 2. That such supplement shall be deemed published as of the day of its
adoption and approval by the Legislative Authority, and the Clerk of Council is
hereby authorized and ordered to insert such supplement into the copy of the Code of
Ordinances kept on file in the Office of the Clerk of Council.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance is effective upon passage, in accordance with
Section 4.04(a)(5) of the Revised Charter.

RE: Ordinance 118-02, An Ordinance Adopting and Enacting a Supplement to the Code
of Ordinances for the City of Dublin.
SUMMARY:
The attached ordinance adopts a supplement to the Dublin Code of Ordinances. This
supplement includes ordinances approved by City Council through June 17, 2002, and
incorporates changes in the Ohio Revised Code through June 12, 2002.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that Council dispense with the public hearing and approve the ordinance.
There is no need for emergency action, as the Charter provides that a recodification is effective
upon adoption.
