Yashko, Esq., c/o Roetzel & Andress, 155 E. Broad Street, 12th Floor, Columbus, OH 43215, agent for Petitioner Stanley W. Woodruff, 2309 King Richard Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75050; and WHEREAS, Council is of the opinion that this territory should be annexed to the City of Dublin. NOW, TI~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the members concurring that: Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide the following municipal services for the 5.9+/- acres in Washington Township, Franklin County upon the annexation of the area to the City of Dublin, Ohio: i Police. The City provides Police and Communications service on a full twenty- four hour basis and also has mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. The ~ annexation area lies approximately 1-1/2 miles northeast of Dublin Police Division headquarters. Dublin operates with a minimum of four cruisers on duty. A response time of approximately three minutes for an emergency situation should be expected for this area. Fire. Fire and emergency medical services protection is currently provided by a well-staffed department in Washington Township. They, too, have mutual aid agreements with other municipalities. This annexation would not change fire department jurisdictional boundaries, and therefore response times for fire and emergency medical services will not be affected. Washington Township Station 93 is located approximately 1/2 mile from the annexation area, and normal response time would be approximately two minutes. Sanitation. Residential refuse collection services are contracted by the City and are currently provided at no additional charge_ I Street Maintenance.
