Hansley, City Manager Initiated By: Dana L. McDaniel, Director of Serv' ~~ Date: December 4, 1997 Re: Ordinance 163-97 Washington Township contacted the City this week to request we provide snow removal services similar to the past two years. However, the City will only provide the services to the two streets which fall within the unincorporated islands of the Township (Bellaire Avenue and Indian Run Road). Attached is the "Scope of Services" the City will be providing to the Township under the proposed agreement. The Township will pay the City $65.00 per treatment for this service. Because of the potential threat to the health, safety and welfare of the public, staff requests Ordinance 163- 97 authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Washington Township for snow removal services be adopted as emergency legislation. Any questions regarding the agreement may be directed to Dana McDaniel. Thank you. TCH/tb T:\PER\TB209\W P61\DOC\DANAVviEMOS\COUNCILVSNOWORDN. WPD EXHIBIT A SCOPE OF SERVICES 1.
