The roadway is identified as Parcel A on the attached map. The City obtained aRight-of-Entry to proceed with the construction of Emerald Parkway. The administration has reached agreement with the property owners for the acquisition of Parcel A (roadway), Parcel B, Parcel E and damages to Parcel C as a result of the roadway construction. The purchase price agreed to was within 10% of the City's appraised value. The funding for the acquisition has been appropriated in the Capital Improvements Tax Fund (Ordinance No. 14-00) and the 2000 Operating Budget's allocation for parkland acquisition. The remaining funding will be available from the proceeds of the bonds being authorized by Ordinance No. 138-00. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Marsha.
