AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR FLOOR
AND UPHOLSTERY MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR 1999
WHEREAS, after advertising and receiving bids on April 1, 1999 for Floor and Upholstery
Maintenance Services for 1999, Council has determined that the bid submitted by Master
Maintenance, Inc. in the amount of $33,000.00 is the lowest and best bid for this
maintenance project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of
Ohio, ~ elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the base bid submitted by Master Maintenance, Inc. in the amount of
$33,000.00 for Floor and Upholstery Maintenance Services for 1999 is hereby accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Master
Maintenance, Inc. for this project as specifiedwithinthe bidder's bid proposal and the City's
bid documents on file in the Division of Grounds and Facilities.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in effect at the earliest date permitted by law.

On Thursday April 1, 1999, bids were opened for Floor and Upholstery Maintenance Services that provides
cleaning of these items for the next twelve months. Three bids were reviewed for the publicly announced
maintenance project.
Base Bid Per Year
1). Master Maintenance, Inc. $33,000.00
r~.. 2). Destiny Gas $204,372.00
3). Flex-Tech Professional Services, Inc. $119,450.00
Staff is recommending acceptance of Master Maintenances bid of $33,000.00 per year. Master Maintenance
is currently under contract with the City of Dublin to perform other custodial services and their work has
been satisfactory.
