Form No. 30043 11-99 Ordinance No Passed YE.~1R AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF AN UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLY (UPS) SYSTEM. WHEREAS, after advertising and receiving bids for the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System on Monday January 11, 1999, Council has determined that the base bid submitted by Liebert Global Services in the amount of $21,118 is the lowest and best bid. WHEREAS, this project provides the equipment that generates emergency power for the 911 system located at the Dublin Justice Center. WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the annual appropriations for this project. NOW, T EREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That the base bid for the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System submitted by Liebert Global Services in the amount of $21,118 is hereby accepted. Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Liebert Global Services for completion of the project, pursuant to the bid specifications and documents on file with the Division of Grounds and Facilities. Section 3. That there be appropriated from the unappropriated balance the amount of $23,000 to Account 101-0621-710-2530 for the UPS System. Section 4. One bid was received from Liebert Global Services in the amount of $21,118.00. This project provides the equipment that generates emergency power for the 911 system located at the Dublin Justice Center. Staff is recommending acceptance of Liebert's's bid for $21,118.00. Liebert's has previously done work for the City of Dublin, and their work has been most satisfactory.
