AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/
BEST BID FOR THE
SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION
LEVIN LINKS COURT
FOR THE CITY OF DUBLIN AND
DECLARING AND EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, after advertising, receiving and opening bids on October 14, 1999 for the
Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation -Levin Links Court; and
WHEREAS, Council has determined that the lowest and best bid for said project is from
CSR Hydro Conduit in the amount of $88,977.75; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to execute this contract as soon as
possible so that construction can take place during favorable weather conditions; and
NHEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Dublin, Ohio,
of the elected members concurring:
Section 1. That the bid from CSR Hydro Conduit in the amount of $88,977.75 be,
and hereby is, accepted.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
contract with CSR Hydro Conduit for completion of said project pursuant to the bid
specifications and documents on file in the office of the City Engineer.
Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an
emergency measure for the preservation of the public peace, health or welfare of the
residents of this City, and, therefore, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.

Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation -Levin Links Court
Project Number: 99-007-CIP
On October 14, 1999 bids were received and publicly opened and read for the Sanitary Sewer
Rehabilitation-Levin Links Court. Three (3) bids were received, as shown on the attached bid
result form. This sewer will be rehabilitated by lining the interior of the pipe. This project has

been budgeted for rehabilitation for the past two years. The bid has been reviewed and it is
recommended that we award this contract to CSR Hydro Conduit the lowest, responsible bidder.
CSR Hydro Conduit's bid was $88,977.75. The funding for this project was included in the 1999
Operating Budget.
Attached is an emergency Ordinance for approval by City Council prior to awarding this
contract.
