ESTABLISHING THE LOCATION AND AMOUNT OF CASH ON HAND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY ,."".,... WHEREAS. Ordinance No. 39-85 established cash funds for various departments; and, - WHEREAS. business transactions occur in a variety of locations which require cash on hand to complete the transaction and minimize the inconvenience to the public; and, WHEREAS. it is necessary to increase the amount of the change funds for the Concession Sales and Admissions at the Swimming Pool. NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the city of Dublin, State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring that: Section 1. Cash boxes to make change will be maintained in the following departments for the purposes indicated: Finance Program/Permit Fees $ 50.00 Court Fines and Bonds, etc. 100.00 Tax Income Tax Collections 50.00 Building/Engineering Permit/License Fees 75.00 Parks and Recreation Concession Sales - Pool 150.00 Concession Sales - A very Park 50.00 Admissions - Pool 150.00 Program Registration 75.00 Police Copies of Reports 50.00 Fines and Bonds, etc. 75.00 Maintenance Cemetery Fees/Permit Fees 50.00 "''''~..H Section 2. The Department Supervisor or his/her designee will be responsible for maintaining these cash funds and forwarding collections daily to the Finance Department, as provided by State law, with the exception of the Mayor's Court, in which case the Mayor's Court personnel will be responsible for preparing a separate deposit daily. Section 3. The above funds are to be used to make change only and not for payment of petty cash items. Section 4. There will be established a petty cash fund in the amount of $200.00 which will be maintained in the Finance Department for the purpose of reimbursing employees for out-of-pocket expenses under $20.00 per Administrative Order. Section 5. This ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure for the preservation of public peace, health or welfare of the residents of this City, and therefore this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
