EDUCATION, WASHINGTON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT (DUBLIN CITY SCHOOLS). LOCATED ON HARD ROAD, CITY OF DUBLIN, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO. WHEREAS, the City of Dublin (the "City' off Hard Road (Scioto High Path) behind Wyandotte Woods (pending construction "Project"; and ,20 is preparing to construct a multi -use path Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park/Connection to of cul -de -sac in Wyandotte Woods) (the WHEREAS, said project requires the City obtain certain property interests described in the attached Exhibit "A" and depicted in Exhibit "B," all attached hereto, located in the City of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio; and WHEREAS, the City desires to receive as a donation from Dublin City Schools a permanent easement; and WHEREAS, this donation will require Dublin City Schools to execute a permanent easement to the City of Dublin without consideration or compensation being paid to Dublin City Schools. NOW, WREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio, of its elected members concurring, that: Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to accept and receive a permanent multi -use path easement related to the donation from Dublin City Schools as described and depicted in the attached Exhibits "A" and "B." Section 2 . This resolution shall take effect and be in force upon passage in accordance with Section 4.04(a) of the Revised Charter. Ott, Sr. Project Manager Re: Resolution 12 -14 — Easement from Dublin City Schools Summary Memo Resolution 12 -14 is a request to accept a donated 1.830 acre, more or less, permanent multi -use path easement from the Dublin City Schools. The easement is located off Hard Road (Scioto High Path) behind Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park/Connection to Wyandotte Woods. Dublin City Schools will receive no consideration or compensation from the City for this easement. Background Annually, staff completes a comprehensive review of shared -use path connection /addition needs and has developed a comprehensive plan for completing these projects to further enhance the City's comprehensive shared -use path network. The plan is located in the Five - Year Capital Improvement Program. Construction of this section of path is scheduled to begin in 2014. Recommendation Staff recommends approval of Resolution 12 -14, accepting the donated easement from Dublin City Schools.
