Mayor read letter from Hinsch Co. in which they stated a prior survey
conducted by them resulted in what they though would be too high a coat tor
residentl to pay tor a water plant. Disoussion _I had. as to whioh was more
importet or wh'oh Ihould come first - water plant or sewage plant. JIost of the
council members were of the op1Bion there should be a sewage plaat tirlt. III any
event, the matter had to be put on the ballot and voted on. Council would not have
time to get tacts and figures betore d.fP.dl~ so it oouldn't possibly be on the
ballot this November. All memberl ot oOUJlQil "ought sewage was most important
sinoe even it they would get water - there _s 110 plao.'.-lt to go.
Clerk was instruoted. to inquire ot County Engineer's Oftice as to aD estimate
on oost of suoh a wewage plant asking them to -.lee what 11 known as an "educated
guess" as to total oost.
