Garwick, P.E., Civil Engineer Re: Resolution No. 39 -13 2013 Storm Structure Maintenance Project — Bid Acceptance Summary The inaugural Storm Structure Maintenance project specifically provides for the maintenance, rehabilitation and repair of structures associated with the public storm sewer system, which includes curb and gutter inlets, catch basins and manholes throughout the community. The annual Storm Structure Maintenance Project is a critical component of the City's on -going efforts to maintain Dublin's public infrastructure and meet the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II regulations. The 2013 budgeted funds for this project are $260,000 from the Capital Improvements Tax Fund (a portion of the $560,000 provided for annual stormwater maintenance in 2013) and represent a lump sum bid amount for labor and material costs to repair the storm structure deficiencies identified during routine inspections or on an emergency basis. Storm structure inspection data, now being collected by City staff, may provide justification for increasing the funds programmed in the future years.
