AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST
BID FOR THE AVERY PARK LANDSCAPING
PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE
MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, after proper advertising bids have been received for the
Avery Park Landscaping Project, and;
WHEREAS, Village Council is of the opinion that the Site Improvement
Company has submitted the lowest/best bid;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the bid of the Site Improvement Company in the amount
of $32,905.00 in conformance with the specifications on file in the
office of the Parks and Recreation Director be, and hereby is,
accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be, and they
hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with the
Site Improvement Company for said landscaping.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared an emergency measure
necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety
and for the further reason that this bid is only good for a limited
number of days and therefore it shall take effect and be in force
immediately upon its passage.

We received two bids on the Avery Park Landscaping
Project.
Site Improvement - $32,905.00
Green King - $39,039.21
The Engineers estimate on this job was $30,000.00.
We have reviewed both bids and recommend the bid be
awarded to Site Improvement.
