AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT A PETITION FOR
ANNEXATION TO THE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN,
OHIO OF A .055 ACRE mACT LOCATED IN
CONCORD TOWNSHIP, DELAWARE COURTY.
WHEREAS, said annexation petition has been approved by the Delaware Councy
Commissioners and;
WHEREAS, the Dublin Village Council is of the opinion that said territory
should be annexed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the petition of Charles P. Driscoll for the annexation to
the Village of Dublin, Ohio of a .055 acre tract in the County of Delaware
(see attached legal description hereby made an official part of this Ordin-
ance), with an accurate map and a certified transcript of the proceedings
of the Delaware County Commissioners, all on file in the office of the
Village Manager be, and the same hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after the earliest period allowed by law.

proceedings by a majority of the property owners within the area described in
Concord Township for armexation of contiguous territory to the Village of Ulblin,
Ohio and consists of the following:
l. Petition for Armexation
2. Order of County Ccmni.ssioners thereof fixing October 6, 1986 as the date for
public hearing.
3. Proof of publication in the Delaware Gazette and delivery of notice to the
Clerk of Concord Township and to the Clerk of Council of the Village of
Ulblin, Ohio.
4. An order of the Carmissioners of Delaware County granting the prayer of
the Petition for Armexaticn.

Whereas; Mr. Howard C. Park has been designated as agent for the petitioners,
Now Therefore Be It
Resolved; that M:>nday October 6, 1986 at 10:00 AM in the meeting roan of the
Board of County Ccmnissioners of Delaware County, 1st Floor, County Courtlx:>use,
Delaware, Ohio be set as the date, ti1re and place for hearing on same, pursuant
to Section 709.031 of the Ohio Revised Code; Further Be It
Resolved; that the Clerk of the Board of Ccmnissioners shall give I'X)tice to the
Agent for the petitioners of this action and file copies of said petition and
maps with the County Auditor and with the County Engineer so he may verify
accuracy of said maps.

To the Commissioners of Delaware County
State of Ohio
The undersiqned. beinq the sole owner of real estate in the
followinq described territory. situated in the County of
Delaware. and adjacent to the Villaqe of Dublin. to wit:
Situated in the State of Ohio. County of Delaware.
Township of Concord and in Virqinia Military Survey
No.2545. containinq 0.055 acre of land. more or less. said
0.055 acre beinq part of Lot 4215 as the same is numbered
and delineated upon the subdivision plat entitled "Hiland
Heiqhts No. 2" and shown of record in Plat Book 7. paqe
281. said 0.055 acre of land beinq more particularly
bounded and described as follows:
Beqinninq. for reference. at an iron pipe at the
northwesterly corner of said Lot 4215. the same beinq in a
southwesterly riqht-of-way line of Edqewood Drive. 60 feet
in width. and at a northeasterly corner of that tract of

to the Village of l)Jblin Village of l)Jblin
The Ccmnissioners of Delaware County, Ohio having on the 6th day of October,
1986 heard the petition of the majority of landowners in the area described
to obtain Annexation to the territory described in the petition to the Village
of D..Jblin, and having in open meeting heard all the persons desiring to be
heard for or agamst the granting of said petition and having considered any
affidavits presented with reference thereto, and being fully advised in the
I premises, do find that:
1. The petition contains all matters required by Sections 709. 02 of the Ohio
Revised Code;
2. Notice has been published as required by Ohio Revised Code Section 709. 03
I and 709.031 and ordinance has been adopted and sul:mitted by the Village as
required by Section 709.031 (B) of the Ohio Revised Code.
3. The persoos whose naIreS are subscribed to the petition are the owners of
real estate in the territory described in the petition and as of the same time
petition was filed with the Delaware County Board of Ccmnissioners the number
of valid signatures on the petition oonstitute a majority of the owners of real
estate in the territory proInsed to be armexed;
4. The territory included in the armexation is not unreasonably large;
5. The Plat of the territory to be armexed is accurate, and
6. The general good of the territory sought to be armexed will be served if
the armexation petition is granted, and
It is hereby ordered that the prayer of said petition be granted and that the
territory described in said petition to be armexed to the Village of l)Jblin
I in accordance with law, and that a certified transcript. signed by a majority
I of this ooard, of all orders and proceedings of this board relative to said
petition and the hearing thereon, together with said petition and the maps
attached thereto, and all papers on file relating to said matter, be delivered
to the Clerk of the Village of Dublin, Ohio.
