The regular meeting of the council was held ~n Jan. 9, 1945,

with Mayor Yeager presiding.
Roll call; Black present, Eberly present, Hill present, Krouse
present, Stiver present, ~ing p~esent.
Minutes of last meeting read and approved as read.
The following bills were presented for payment;
Columbus and Southern Ohio Electric Co. $ 18.45
Moved by Krouse and seconded by Hill that bill be paid as read.
Black yes, Eberly yes, Hill yes, Krouse yes, Stivers Yes, Wing yes.
The ordipance no. 1-45, vacating part of Lower street waS read for

the third time. lOved by Black, seconded by Eberly that the above
Ordinance be passed and adopted and be in full force and affect at
the earlest period allowed by law.

and Southern Ohio Electric Co., its suc.essors and assigns, shall
be entitled to charge for electric current furnished to the consumers

Motion carried.
It W&.s moved by lIr. Stivers and seconded by Mr. Eberly that the rules
governing the reading of ordinances at three seperate meetings on

seperate days be suspended and disposed with and the ordinance be
immediately advanced to its second and third reading. Thereupon a vote
Was taken on the motion with the following results;
Black yes, Bberly yes, Hill yes, Krouse yes, Stivers yes, Wing yes.
Motion carried

The ordinance No. 2-45 was thereupon read two more times by the
clerk by title only.
It was moved by Mr~ Wing and seconded by Mr. Black that said
ordinance No. 2-45 pass its second, third and final ~eadings under
suspension of the rules and be finally passed and adopted and be in
full force and- affect at the earlest period allowed by law.

The Mayor declared the Ordinance duly aaopted.
There being no fUrther business the council adjourned.

ainutes of last meeting read and approved as read.
The Washington 'l'wp. trustees , JIr. Eckert, lIr. Leppert and Kr. Hirth
met with the council regarding street repairs. They agree to repair
streets and alleys in the Village to the extent of work that will be
permitted by the Franklin County Engineers office and the Trustees
finances permit. Council Was pleased to accept their proposition.
The fOllowing bills were 9resented for payment.
