Form No. 2806-A Ordinance NO.n 45-85 Passed_ _____ _____ ___ __19__ ---- ---------~-- AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST BID FOR SALT FOR SNOW AND ICE CONTROL FOR THE WINTER OF 1985-1986; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, bids have been received for salt for snow and ice control for the winter of 1985-1986, and; WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of International Salt Company in the amount of$29.70 per ton is the lowest/best bid; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, 6 of the elected members concurring: Section 1. That the bid of International Salt Company in accordance with specifications presently on file in the Office of the Manager be, and hereby is, accepted. Section 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby are, authorized and directed to execute a contract with said Company for the purchase of salt. Section 3. That this Ordinance be, and the same hereby is, declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and for the further reason that acceptance of said bid must be acknowledged within fifteen (15) days to assure the bid price through March 31, 1986, and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
