Moved by Shriver and seconded by Black that bills be paid as read Black yes, Eberly yes, Hill yea, Leppert yes, Shriver yes, 'Ying yes. Ordincince vacating part of Lower street was read forthe third time. Clerk was instructed to notify Mr. Victor Stivers to clean the stone from North Lower st. Moved by Hill and seconded by Leppert that council adjourn until October 26, 1943 at 8.00 EK. Council met in a continuation meeting on October 26, 1943 with Mayor \nlitaker presiding. Roll call. Black present, Eberly Jresent, Hill preaent, Leppert pres Shriver present, Wing present. A Letter rias read to the council from the Burea.u of Inspection and Supervision of public Offices in regard to the purchase of Goverment Bonds.Upon investigation it was found that we could not purchase war bonds and the matter was dropped. Moved by Wing and seconded by Hill that the Council em~loy someone '(f to trim all trees in the village that interfere with the street light wires and have the wires ~4~k'efta streched.
