AN ORDINANCE TO AUTHORIZE THE VILLAGE
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH
-. " THE CITY OF COLUMBUS WITH RESPECT TO THE
INCOME TAX COLLECTION FEE, AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, the Village of Dublin currently has a contract with the City
of Columbus to collect income taxes in return for five (5) percent
of the gross income tax collections, and;
WHEREAS, the City of Columbus has proposed an amendment to reduce these
collection fees per Amendment No. 2-CT# attached;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
Section 1- That the Village Manager is hereby authorized to sign an
agreement with the City of Columbus to amend the collection fees charged,
and;
.- Section 2. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health
and safety and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force immediately upon its passage.

AMENDMENT NO.2 - CT #
nus agreement is between the Village of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio and the City
of Columbus, Franklin County, Ohio.
The parties hereto entered into an agreement on November I, 1971, wherein the City
of Colwnbus promised and agreed to administer and collect all inco'me tax monies due to
Village of Dublin in accordance with the provisions of applicable statutes and ordinances
of Village of Dublin in return for 5 percent of the gross income tax proceeds collected by
Columbus. A copy of that agreement as modified is attached hereto, marked as Exhibit 1
and insofar as it is not inconsistant with the tenns hereof, made a part of this agreement.
The parties hereto desire to and hereby amend this agreement as modified and
attached hereto in the following respects:
"That the collection fee charged Village of Dublin and paid to the City of
Colwnbus for the administration of tax ordinances and collection of taxes for
Vlllage of Dublin, be amended to comply with the following fee schedule as a
substitution of #5 of Exhibit 1 as modified.
Tax Rate of Contracting Unit Fee to be Char~ed
1% The fee shall be 4% on gross
collections up to the first
$1,000,000 and 2%
thereafter.
1-1/2% The fee shall be 2.5% on
gross collections up to the
first $1,000,000 and 2%
thereafter.
2% The fee shall be 2% on gross
collections.
nus modification shall be effective as of October 1, 1985.
