AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE LOWEST/BEST
BID FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS PROFESSIONAL
LIABILITY INSURANCE, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MANAGER AND FINANCE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, Pursuant to required advertising and bidding procedures, bids have
been received for the provision of Law Enforcement Officers Professional
Liability Insurance coverage in 1984.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin,
State of Ohio, 7 of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the bid of $ 2, 924/year for 3 year~s submitted by
Anson B. Smith Co. for the provision of Law Enforce-
ment Officers Professional Liability Insurance for 1984 having been
determined to be the lowest/best bid be, and hereby is, accepted.
SECTION 2. That the Manager and Finance Director be, and they hereby are,
authorized and directed to execute a contract with Anson B. Smith Co.
for the purchase of the aforesaid
insurance.
SECTI ON 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure for
the public peace, health and safety, and for the further reason that said
insurance is required and therefore this Ordinance shall take effect and be
in force immediately upon its passage.
