AN ORDINANCE TO ACCEPT THE DEDICATION OF A 1.1272
ACRE TRACT AND A 1.646 ACRE TRACT OF LAND LOCATED
APPROXIMATELY AT THE INTERSECTION OF FRANTZ AND
;' RINGS ROADS.
I
WHEREAS, Sherex Chemical Company, Inc. (1.1272 acres) and Western Electric
Company (1.646 acres) are desirous of dedicating said tracts to the Village
of Dublin, Ohio and;
WHEREAS, The Village Council is desirous of accepting the dedication of said
tracts:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State
of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring:
SECTION 1. That the Quit Claim Deeds hereto attached as Exhibits "A" and "B",
including all conditions cited in said Exhibits be, and hereby are, accepted.
SECTION 2. That Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after
the earliest period allowed by law.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE GRANTOR, WESTERN ELECTRIC COMPANY, INCORPORATED, a corporation
created and existing under and by virtue of the laws of the State of New
'1 York and duly authorized to tran~act business in the State of Ohio, for
valuable consideration paid, and pursuant to authority given by the Board of
Directors of said corporation CONVEYS and QUIT CLAIMS unto the Grantee,
VILLAGE OF DUBLIN, State of Ohio, Whose tax mailing address is 6665 Coffman
Road, Dublin, Ohio, all interest in the following described real esta.te
situated in the County of Franklin, State of Ohio, to wit:
Situated in the County of Franklin, State of Ohio, Village of
Dublin,. being located in Virginia Military Survey Nos. 2419 (4852)
and being part of the 71.924 acre tract conveyed to Ashland Oil
and Refining Company by deed of record in Deed Book 2888, Page
441, and conveyed by Ashland oil and Refining Company to Western
Electric Company, Incorporated and being more particularly bounded
and described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin found at ap angle point in the centerline
of original Rings Road, said iron p'in being the southeasterly
corner of before mentioned 71.924 acre tract;
thence along the centerline of original Rings Road a distance of 314.77
feet, S 840 39 20" W;
thence N 60 31 55" W a distance of 259.152 feet to a point on the
south edge of the right of way of relocated Rings Road;
I. thence along this right of way on a curve to the right having a radius
of 904.93 feet and a chord bearing of N 760 39 37" E and chord
> distance of 265.182 feet;
thence S 180 58 12" E a distance of 99.33 feet;
thence N 830 28 05" E a distance of 30.0 feet;
thence S 60 31 55" E a distance of 200.13 feet back to the point of
beginning.
The total area contained in this description is 1.9770 acres of Which
0.331 acres lies within existing roadway right of way, leaving a net
useable area of 1.646 acres.
The foregoing conveyance is made subject to the following conditions
which, by acceptance of this conveyance, the Grantee covenants shall
forever be kept and observed:
1. The premises hereby conveyed shall be used only as a parkway,
meaning a landscaped area for maintenance of aesthetics, and
shall be used for no other purpose; and
2. Grantee shall retain ownership of the premises and shall convey
I it to no other party.
. A lien is hereby reserved by the Grantor on the premises hereby
conveyed to secure the faithful performance of the aforesaid
conditions, covenants and obligations. In the event the Grantee shall
fail substantially to perform its aforesiad covenants and obligations,
the premises hereby conveyed shall revert to and vest absolutely in the
Grantor, its successors and assigns, if it so elects.

sideration paid, grants to the Village of Dublin, Oh i 0, : whose

lowing real property:

Village of Dublin. being located in Virginia Military

shrubs, flower gardens, fountains, sculpture, or other

2. Grantee shall retain ownership of both of the premises
and shall convey them to no other party.
