WHEREAS, pursuant to proper advertising, bids have been received for the sale to the. Village of two (2) new cruisers, less trade-ins, and: WHEREAS, Council has determined that the bid of Boblc.., L.Q.Ynt4.M Ck'e~, for the two (2) new cruisers, less trade-ins, in the amount of $la.t1Q. U. , is the lowest/best bid: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, State of Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring: SECTION 1. That the bid of 8o~lt.J La"'.... c'hev, for the sale to the Village of two (2) new cruisers, less trade-ins, in accordance with the specifications presently on file in the office of the Village Manager be, and hereby is, accepted. SECTION 2. That the Village Manager and Finance Director be and they hereby are authorized and directed to execute a contract in the name of the Village wi th the said '80"" ~..,___.. Bob McDorman 1980 Chev. Impala's $15,694.46 Bobby Layman 1980 Chev. Impala's 15,270.00 Quality Chevrolet 1981 Chev. Malibu's 14,086.32 George Byers Sons 1981 Chrysler Lebaron 13,850.80 Bobby Layman 1981 Chevrolet Malibu 12,879.40 Since all bids qualified with only minor exceptions and since we have had good success with Maliby models (better mileage, less maintenance), I would highly recommend the acceptance of the bid of Bobby Layman for the two (2) 1981 Malibu units at a total cost of $12,879.40 which is the lowest bid.
