A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE AT
CRAMER'S CROSSING

WHEREAS, the Cramer's Crossing Homeowners Association (the Association) requested City
Council to provide some type of relief from the maintenance of reserves dedicated during the
development process; and
WHEREAS, the Association expressed concerns that their maintenance cost per home was
significantly higher than that for other homeowners associations; and
WHEREAS, providing such relief would lower the overall cost to members of the Association;
and
WHEREAS, City staff have negotiated with the Association and agreed upon a solution to provide
the level of relief authorized by City Council.
NOS, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State of Ohio,
~ of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide turf management consisting of weed control, fertilizing
and mowing of Reserves B, C; D, E and F. (Attachment "A")
Section 2. The City of Dublin will assume ownership of the pond aerator located within the
Reserve and the associated utility cost.
Section 3. The Cramer's Crossing Homeowners Association will continue to provide all
landscaping, tree maintenance, and any other maintenance, except as otherwise specified above,
for all areas for which the Homeowners Association has responsibility.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force upon passage in accordance with
Section 4.04(a) of the Revised Charter.

RE: Resolution 15-08 Provision of Maintenance to Cramer's Crossing
Memo
Summary
Attached is Resolution No. 15-08, which authorizes provision of maintenance to the Cramer's Crossing
Homeowners Association (the Association). Staff recommended that a maintenance agreement be
developed between the City of Dublin and the Association that transfers tu1~ maintenance responsibilities
of Reserves B, C, D, E and F to the City of Dublin. Staff` also recommended that this agreement include
the transfer of maintenance responsibilities and utilities for the retention pond located an the south side of
Cramer's Crossing Drive at Aveiy Road to the City.
At the March 3rd Council meeting, Council directed staff to prepare the documents to formalize this
maintenance agreement.
Recommendation
Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 15-08 at the Nlarch 17, 2008 Council meeting.
