A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING 1HE VILLAGE OF DUBLIN'S
GRATI1UDE TO CHIEF HAROLD E. ROSE
AND DEClARING SEPTIMBER 1St 1974 AS
HAROLD E. ROSE DA:
I WHEREAS, Harold E. Rose has well and faithfully served as the Chief
Law Enforcement Officer of the Village of Dublin, Ohio since 1955; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council of the Village of Dublin, on
its own behalf, and on behalf of alltthe residents of the Village of Dublin,
to express their sincere appreciation to Harold E. Rose for his many years of
service to the Village; and
WHEREAS, in order to express said appreciation it is felt that a day
should be set asiEle and designated "Harold E. Rose Day."
N<l\T, 1HEREFORE, be it, and it is here", resolved by the Council of
the Village of Dublin, Ohio (p of the elected members concurring:
, 'SECTION 1. That the Village of ~blin hereby expresses, to Harold E.
" Rose, its sincere appreciation for his many years of fine service to the
said Village.
SECTION 2. That September 15,1974 be, and it is hereby, designated
as ''Harold E. Rose Day" throug~utlt the Village of Dublin, Ohio.
SECTION 5. That the Mayor of the Village of Dublin is, he~by,
directed to present this Resolution to Harold E. Rose at the earliest time
possible.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution be in force and effect imnediately upon
its passage.
