I A RESOLUTION FOR PARTICIPATION IN LOCALLY-FUNDED
i MCNITORING AND COORDINATION PROGRAM ESTABLISHED

, I BY THE MID-OHIO REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION.

WHEREAS, the Mid-Ghio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) has been under con-
" , tract to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) to do portions of the
work necessary to develop the Central Scioto Water Quality Management Plan (CS...
WQMP), and
v.TJ1EREAS, MORPC established advisory committees, including representatives of
local government as part of its responsibilities, and
WHEREAS, MORPC will not extend its contractual relationship with OEPA to do
additional work after .october 31, 1978, and
WHEREAS, MORPC has established a locally-funded monitoring and coordination
function for purposes of assuring that the local interests and concerns of the
cities, villages and counties within the planning area are made known to the
OEPA in its development of the CSW~'W, and
WHEREAS, the Water Quality Plan prepared by OEP A will mandate sewage collection
, systems and treatment methods for point and nonpoint pollution problems which
directly impact (City, Village, County), and
WHEREAS, the cost to this (Village) will be at the rate of 6~ per person based
upon the 1970 census, now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY the Council of the Village of DUblin, State of Ohio, ~
of the elected members concurring:
. SECTION 1: That it hereby agrees to participate in the Monitoring and Coordin-
..,.,." Program established by the MORPC to extend from November 1, 1978 through Decem-
ber 31, 1979.
SECTlOO 2: That it will pay the fee charged by MORPC at the rate of 6~ per
person based on the 1970 Census and as billed by that agency.
