Held DECEHBER 16, 1974 19 "'" ' The December 16, 1974, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to order by the Mayor Joseph Dixon with the roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, present; Lewis Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the December 2 meeting were read, Karrer moved approval of the minutes, Ulrey seconded, all voted in favor of approval. Bob Mayer informed council of a school, bike, drug safety program where a private company solicits funds from local merchants and provides materials to the police department and school. Program would begin in September. No action until further information is gained. Bill Meyers of Burgess and Niple explained firts steps in water main improve- ment, 24 inch main from Sawmill Road across river to Western edge of village, needs council approval to submit to City of Columbus, Commfan moved that Burgess and Niple proceed with water ppans and submit such plans to the City of Columbus, Karrer seconded, all voted :n favor. Ordinance 67-74 confirming the appointment of Larry Seifert as a policeman of the Village of Dublin for a probationary period of six months and setting his compensa tion was introduced by Coffman and read by the clerk, Ulrey moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded, vote on reading nule, Coffman, yes; Geese, yes; Headlee, no; Hikks, yes; Karrer, yes; Ulrey, yes. Vote on the ordinance-Coffman, yes; Geese, yes; Headlee, abstain; Hicks, yes; Karrer, yes; Ulrey, yes. Form No. 1097 "~O 11 clef Decembee 16, 1974 continued Ordinanme 71-74 transferring $9000.OQ of unappropriated funds from the General Fund to the Street C, M & R .l!und was introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk, Hicks moved to dispense with the three time re'ding rule, Geese seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and t he ordinance. 19 Resolution 30-74 setting time and place for a public hearing for rezoning of property on Rings Road at Frantz Road was introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk, all voted in favor of the resolution.
