RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING POSITION OF
ANIMAL WARDEN AND PRESCRIBED RATE
(] OF PAY AND DUllES OF SAID WARDEN
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio ~
of the members concurring, that:
SECTION I. There is, hereby, established the position of Animal
Warden a. a part-time, hourly po.ition within the Village of
Dublin, said Animal Warden to perform the duties and have the
qualifications as set forth as exa.ples on Exhibit -A- attached
hereto and made a part hereof; end
SECTION 2. The Animal Warden shall be a part-time position not
exceeding 20 hours per week and shall be paid $4.00 per hour.
In addition, the Animal Warden will provide her/bi. eva.e.to.obil
I for use in carrying out her/his duties, will be paid the sum of

I fuel, oil, repairs, .aintenance and shall carry her/his own in-
surance on the automobile: and

GENERAL STA~T OF DUTIES
Catches, cares for, and disposes of stray animals and unlicensed dogs.
Does related work as required.

C This is routine poundmaster work performed, under tho supervision of tho
police Depertmont, with responsibUit7 for collecting, IlSintaiDing, and
disposing of animals.

Answers complaints trom the public regarding dogs and cats.
Cares for and feeds animals in the pound. Maintains powd in a clean and
sanitary condition.
Releases animals to owners who come to the pound.

Reconnnends and encourages the purchase of county dog licenses.
Investigates complaints of cruelty to animals and may take necessary
action to solve complaints.
Patrols school and other areas to locate and pick up stray dogs.
Picks up and oares for injured birds, dogs, cata and other snj....ls alcDl!

C Maintains reoord. and prepares reports as required.
Issues warnings.
