A RESOLUTION.AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
ADDITIONAL LAND FOR THE VILLAGE CEMETERY
AND AUTHORIZING THE CLERK-TREASURER TO USE

FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND, REIMBURSIBLE
FROM THE CEMETERY PERPETUAL CARE FUND,' FOR
SAID PURCHASE.
WHEREAS, The Council of the Village of Dublin, Ohio, has, heretofore,
recommended the purchase of approximately 1.5 acres of land adjacent to and
on the west edge of the Village Cemetery for expansion of said cemetery; and
WHEREAS, The Village of Dublin, Ohio Cemetery Commission has, by Re-
solution, approved said purchase and authorized the use of funds from the
Cemetery's Perpetual Care Fund for said purchase; and
WHEREAS, The said Perpetual Care Funds are invested in a Certificate of
Deposit which will mature in August, 1977, and, if withdrawn prior to matu-

f rity will cost the Village approximately $2,000.00 in lost interest and

penalties;
NOW THEREFORE, it is, hereby, RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of
Dublin, Ohio, ~ of the elected members concurring, that:
SECT! ON 1. The Village Administrator and the Village Clerk-Treasurer
are, hereby, authorized and directed to proceed with the purchase of an
approximately 1.5 + acre tract of land adjacent to, on the west edge of

the Village's Cemetery, for the purpose of expanding said Cemetery; and
SECTION 2. The Village Clerk-Treasurer is, hereby, authorized and

directed to spend, and there is, hereby, appropriated an amount up to
$26,000.00 from the Village's General Fund for the purpose of said purchase,
provided that, after the Cemetery's Perpetual Care Fund's Certificate of
D Deposit matures, the Clerk-Treasurer shall reimburse the General Fund from
the Perpetual Care Fund for the money so spent with interest.

SECTION 3. That this Resolution take effect and be in force immediately
