The AugustS, 1974, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to
order by the Mayor Joseph Dixon. Sherman Sheldon was named acting clerk.
ROll Call as follows: Charles Coffman, present; Lewis Geese, present;
Catherine Headlee, presnt; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present;
Wilbur Ulrey, present.

The mintues of the July 15 meeting were read, Ulrey moved approval, Coffman
seconded, all voted in favor of approval.

Karrer moved payment of the bills, Geese seconded, all voted in favor of payment
Correspondence was read which included a letter stating that the budget commiss-
ion will hold a hearing August 12 on local governemnt requests for 1975.
Ordinance 38-74 to accept 544 acre annexation was introduced by Karrer and
read for the first time, Ulrey moved to dispense with the three time reading
rule, Geese seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance.
Ordinance 39Q74 name a new police chief for a probationary si x month period
was introduced by Karrer and read for the first time, Coffman moved to dispense
iwth the three time reading rule, Ulrey seconded, Voted on motion-Goffman, yes;
Geese, yes; Headlee, no; Hicks, yes; Karrer, yes; Ulrey, yes. Vote on t e J~~
