Form No. 1097 ~ Meeting Held 19 JUNE 3, 1974 The June 3, 1974, meeting of the Village of Dublin ~ouncil was called to order by Mayor Joseph Dixon, roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, absent; Lewis, Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert lfarrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the May 20 meeting were read, Karrer moved approval of the minutes, Hicks seconded, all present voted in favor. The clerk read a letter from Donald Rose submitting his resignation as village solicitor, Geese moved, Ulrey seconded to accept the resignation of Doaald Rose as village solicitor, effective immediately, all present voted :in favor. Ordinance # 30-74 hiring Donald A Richardson as village solictior for a period of one year from June 1, 1974, to June 1, 1975 was introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk, Ulrey moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded, all present voted ~n favor of the motion and the ordinance. Mayor Dixon reviewed the Swnmitview haul road discussion, Solicitor Richardson brought council up to date, Liberty Township has not rezoned its area for a quarry, therefore a borrow pit cannot legally be started, using SUmmitview as a haul road cannot effect the health, safety and welfare of the abutting property owners and there would be hauling over the area in Dublin, commercial hauling over property noted~~oned commercial. Hicks moved that Complete Genera Construction be denied the use of Sunm1tview Road as a haul road, Geese second- ed, all present voted in favor. Muirfield, InC., requested a waiver in letter dated May 23, 1974 which was part of thirty day waiting period. Karrer maTed acceptance of waiver, Ulrey second- ed, all present voted in favor of waiver. Muirfie1d also requested waiver of easement requirements in final development plans(utility easements) Karrer moved granting of waiver, Geese seconded, all present voted in favor. O...n;nAn~A ~1_7J. Form No. 1097 ~ 11 clef June 3, 1974, continued 19 Clerk read a letter from Ashland Chemical Company concerning the follGwing items: the dedication of Blazer Parkway to the village, police patrolling the property, loss of signs, street light at Blazer Parkway and Frantz Road. Council requested that representative frpm Ashland and village engineer be asked to attend next council meeting. ,~ Clerk read letter from Jack Alston, village planner, concerning planning thoroughfares in certain areas, Mr Alston to be asked to attend next meeting. Council expressed a desire to continue recreation program and directed village adminstrator to start nlanning and hire a qirector. Fin~l official vote on sewer was 266 for and 262 against. Ron. Davis, speaking for the businessmen in. the area near Avery Road, requested that the area be considered in the phase I. sewer plans.
