ACCEPTING THE' HIGHEST BID FOR BONDS
BASED UPON THE LOHEST R...\TE OF INTEREST
PRESENTED BY A RESPO\SIBLE BIDDER
.
MJ:" Sbawan moved the adoption of the following
Resolution:
WHEREAS, McDonald and Company of Cleve I and ,
0 Ohio, a responsible bidder, has presented a bid for bonds in the principal amount
of $ 800,000 , with premium of $ I ,044.00 , and accrued
interest, upon a rate of interest, viz. 7. 125 percent per annum, and
other than that provided for in the Ordinance adopted on the 5th day of
November , 19~, under Section 133.33 of the Revised Code of Ohio, there-
fore be it
RESOLVED, That the bid of MC'!()on;:ald ;:and CompAny of
Cleveland , Ohio, be and the same is hereby accepted, said bid
being the highest based upon the lowest rate of interest other than that provided
for in said Ordinance; and be it further
RESOLVED, That said bonds, after being duly executed and signed according to
law and according to the Ordinance heretofore adopted by this Council but bearing
'0 the rate of interest provided for in said accepted bid, be delivered by the Clerk
I
of this Council to the said purchaser upon compliance with the terms of said sale,
and be it further
RESOLVED, That said Clerk furnish to said successful bidder a true Transcript
and statement of net indebtedness, certified by him, and such other information
as is provided by law; and be it further
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of this Council is hereby directed to certify a copy
of this Resolution to the County Auditor as required by Section 133.36 of the
Revised Code of Ohio.
