The May 20, 1974, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to order
by the Mayor Joseph Dixon. Roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, present;
Lewis Geese, present; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present;
Rtibert Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, present. The minutes of the May 6 meet-
ing were read, Karrer mOTed approval, Ulrey seconded, all voted in favor.

After a second lengthly discussion conerning the use of Summitview Road as a
haul road and the borrow pit of Complete General Construction Ulrey moved to ~
table to next regular meeting, Hicks seconded, Coffman, yes; Geese, )Ie s;
Headlee, yes; HiCks, yes; Karrer, no; Ulrey, JeB; Motion passed.

Karrer introduced ordinance 28-74 which was read by the clerk, a public hearing
concerning the ordinance which amends sections of the zoning code for the
village of Dublin was held. Coffman moved to dispense with the threetime read-
ing rule and Hicks seconded, all voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance.
,Ordinance 29-74 changing the zonin1 of certian re~ estate on Coffman Rond to
PUD zoninp was introduced by Geese and read by the clerk, a public hearing was
.taen held with several person speaking in favor of the ordinance, Ulrey roOTed to
dispense with the three time reading rule, Karrer seconded, all voted in favor
of the motion and the ordinance.
Council asked the solicitor to draw up a ordinance creating the position of
an electrical inspector for the village. Solicitor also working on problem
of fire coverage in the Concord Township area of the village. Council discussed
cooperating with other communities in a crime lab at Capital University, could I
not see particualr benefits for the village.
