O. ~ ~ICS Form No. 6233-A Resolution NO'n42::81~mmn__m__mm P assed ~mn___ _mnm~_~~~mn m~mnm~__~mm19 nnm_ A RESOLUTION SPECIFYING THE DATE OF A SPECIAL ELECTION FOR CONSIDERATION OF THE PASSAGE OF ONE-HALF PERCENT C (~%) INCREASE IN THE MUNICIPAL INCOME TAX FOR THE PURPOSE OF GENERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AND DIRECTING THE BOARDS OF ELECTIONS TO CONDUCT SAID. ELECTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Council of the Village duly enacted the Ordinance attached h~reto as Exhibit A to place a proposed increase of one-half percent (~%) in the municipal income tax on the ballot for approval at a Special Election to be held on December 8, 1981. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Dublin, 5" of the elected members concurring that: SECTION l. The date of the Special Election for submitting the question of the proposed one-half percent (~%) increase in the municipal income tax for the purpose of General Capital Improvements shall be the 8th day of December, 1981, between the hours of 6:30 o'clock a.m. and 7:30 o'clock p.m. SECTION 2. That the Franklin County Board of Elections and Delaware County Board of Elections are directed to conduct said election in accordance with Section 718.01 Revised Code and Ordinance No. '1%- Jj'I enacted on the cI;s-t-day of .<)GJf1fe;q1/;~r , 1981. SECTION 3. That this Resolution be, and the same hereby is, declared to be [J an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare; therefore, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage.
