EASEMENTS OR OTHER INTERESTS IN REAL
ESTATE, WIDENING, PAVING, CONSTRUCTING,
IMPROVING AND EXTENDING CERTAIN VILLAGE
STREETS AND INTERSECTIONS, PROVIDING

CONSTRUCTING BIKEWAYS AND PAYING THE

PRINTING AND OTHER COSTS INCIDENTAL THERETO.
WHEREAS, th~ fiscal officer of the Village has certified the
estimated life of the improvement referred to herein to be at
least 5 years and the maximum maturity qf bonds hereinafter
mentioned as 20 years;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE.SOLVED by the council of the Village
of Dublin, Franklin and Delaware Counties, Ohio that:
SECTION 1: For the purpose of providing funds for acquiring
easements or other interests in real estate, widening, paving,
\:~ constructing, improving and extending certain Village streets and
intersections, providing curbs, landscaping, drainage facilities,
equipment and related appurtenances, and constructing bikeways and
paying the costs of legal services, advertising, printing and
other costs incidental thereto, it is necessary to issue bonds of
the Village in the amount of $5,498,000 and it is necessary to
levy a tax outside the ten-mill limitation of Article XII, S2 of
the Ohio Constitution to pay interest on and retire said bonds.

The question of issuing said bonds and of levying said tax shall
be submitted to the electors of this Village at the general election
to be held on November 3, 1981. The approximate date of said
bonds will be January 1, 1982; said bonds will mature in twenty
annual installments after the authorization thereof, and will bear
interest at a rate now estimated at 10 per centum per annum,
!J payable semi-annually.
SECTION 2. The Clerk is directed to certify forthwith a copy
of this resolution to the county auditors for their calculation of
the average annual tax levy required throughout the life of the
bonds to pay the interest on and to retire said bonds, assuming

that they are all issued in one series and that the amount of the
tax list of this Village remains the same throughout the life of
said bonds.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in force and take
effect inunediately upon its adoption.
