The February 4, 1974, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to
order by the Mayor Joseph Dixon. ROll Call - Chatles Coffman, present; Lewis
Geese, absent; Catherine Headlee, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert
Karrer, present; Wilbur Ulrey, present.
The minutes of the January 21 meeting were read, Coffman moved approval, Karrer
seconded, all present voted in favor of approval.
The following bills were submitted for payment:

Karrer moved that the bills be paid, Headlee seconded, all present
favor.

Ordinance 08-74 providing for a change in zoning of certain real estate known
as Waterford Village to Planned Unit Development was read for the second time
by the clerk, Ulrey moved to dispense with three time reading rule, Coffman
seconded, vote on metion as follows, COffman, yes; Geese, absent; Headlee,
no; Hicks, yes; Karrer, yes; Ulrey, yes. Motion failed to get three fourths
ne ce s sary vote s.
, Council received request from several Post Road property owners concerning
land between POst Road and state route #33, Coffman moved to send request to
Planning and Zoning Commission, Headlee seconded, all present voted in favor.

Ordinance 09-74 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids
for garbage and rubbish collection and hauling service to the village was
introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk, Ulrey moved to dispense with the I J
threeC"time reading rule, Coffman seconded, all present voted in favor of the... 0
motion and the ordinance. Clerk to advertise for bids in the Columbus Dispatch,
Resolution 03-74 determining to proceed to submit question of the issue of bond~
for the sewer system was introduced by C06Jftman and read by the clerk, Hicks
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, All
present voted in favor of the motion and the resolutio~.
Ordinance 10-74 accepting the petition for annexation of territory (River
Forest} to the village was introduced by Ulrey and read by the clerk, Karrer
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded, All
present voted in favor of the motionaand the ordinance.
Ordinance 11-74 authorizing the village adminstrator to advertise for bids for
a new 1974 dump truck was introduced by Coffman and read by the clerk, Coffman

Council discussed the rental of the house on the property at Coffman and
Post Roads recently purchased by the village. Council directed the village 8-0
adminstrator to consult with some real estate people about the value of the
property and a rental fee.
