Roll Call: Charles Coffman, present; Lc.ris Geese, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present; Gerald Macklin, pre- sent; Wilbur Ulrey, present. Sherman Sheldon was named acting clerk, minutes of the previous meeting were not available. Mr. 3cott, electrical inspector for Upper Arlin ton, anne red before council in regard to Dublin having its won inspector. After disdussion it was decided that Dublin should look into possibility being certified to have their Q{n inspectors. Bil1 Hyers will check this out. Guideleines for Dublic hearings \-Jas re'ld ann then the sign ordinance 1.Jas introduced by Karrer, The ordinance was read in full, John HOffitt spoke in favor of the ordinance, there was no opposition to the ordinance. Coffman moved, Ulrey seconded to dispense ith the three time reading ru1ie, vote on the motion and the ordiancance (#43(..73) W3.S unanimous. Ordinance 44-73 dealing with contracting engineering services with Hockaden, Lipes and Rousculp 1.raS introduced by Ulrey, the ordinance 'JaS read, Karrer moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, }IackUn seconded. ili'l;'.€ on the motion and the ordinance was uninamous. Water contract with Colmnbus was discussed. Roxe, Myers, Sheldon and Dixon are to pursue resolving any questionable parts of the contract and have it ready for council as soon as possible. Discussion \.Jas held on the 35 mph speed on Avery Road, and it was council's opinion, that until the residents of DUblin, '~10 live on Avery Road, exp:ess a desire to change this to a higher speed, it will be maintained at 35 moho Mayor Dixon asked approval to purchase 12 forms for the police department, 1000 copies of e8ch forn, to update police records and paper work, Council was of the opinion thclt if such forms are needed they should be purchased. Mayor declared the meeting adjourned at 9:30 PN.
