A RESOLUTION TO SET FORTH A STATE-
MENT OF SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED TO
THE AREA IN A PROPOSED ANNEXATION
OF 733~ ACRES FROM WASHINGTON TOWN-
SHIP, FRANKLIN COUNTY TO THE CITY OF
DUBLIN, OHIO AS REQUIRED BY SECTION
709.031 OF THE OHIO REVISED CODE
WHEREAS, a petition for the annexation of 733~ acres from Washington Town-
ship was duly filed by Christopher T. Cline, agent for the petitioners;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing will be required before the Franklin County
Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, Section 709.031 of the Ohio REvised Code requires that, prior to
said hearing, the Municipal Authority shall adopt a statement indicating
what services, if any, the Municipal Corporation will provide to the
territory rpoposed for annexation:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, ~of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The City of Dublin will provide the following municipal
services for the 733~ acres in Washington Township-Franklin County upon
the annexation of said area to the City of Dublin, Ohio:
Police. The City provides Police and Communications service on a full
twenty-four hour basis and also has mutual aid agreements with other
municipalities. The annexation area lies approximately one mile south
of Dublin's Police Division Headquarters. Dublin operates with a minimum
~ ~ of three cruisers on duty. A response time of approximately five minutes,

~ .~ Fire. Fire protection is currently provided by well-staffed departments

~~ in Washington and Perry Townships in Franklin County, and Concord Town-
~ .~ ship in Delaware County. They too have mutual aid agreements with other

~ ~: dictional boundaries and therefore response times for fire and emergency

Re: 733 acres to be annexed; Larry Kincaid, et al.
Take notice that certain petitioners seeking the annexation of certain
territory located in the Township of Washington, County of Franklin and
state of Ohio to the City of Dublin, Ohio, filed a petition for the
annexation in the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin
County, Ohio on April 12, 1990, filed under case number 21-90. Note that
due to an error in the County Commissioners office the copies are time
stamped April 11, 1990. The correct date, and the date on the official
copies in the commissioners records has been corrected to April 12, 1990.
A copy of the annexation petition, the annexation plat and of the
legal description is attached hereto.
This notice is given pursuant to Ohio Revised Code section 709.03.
The petition contains a full description of the territory sought to be
annexed, and other matters required by law, and is signed by a majority
