The May 21 IDeeting of the Village of Dublin council was callpd to i!)rder by
by Wilbur Ulrey, president of council, presiding in the mayor's absence.
Sherman Sheldon was named acting clerk in place of rtichard Termeer.
Roll Call; Charles Coffman, present; Lewis Geese, present; Charles Hicks,
present; Robert Karrer, present; Gerald Macklin, presAnt; Wilbur Ulrey,
present. The minutes of the May 7 meeting were read, Coffman moved approval
of the minutes, Karrer seconded. All voted in favor of approval.
The following bills were submitted for payment:

Geese moved payment of the bills, Macklin seconded. All voted in favor.
Ordinance 26-73 dealing with change in zoning for PUD was introduced b~
Karrer and read for the first time. Discussion was start"d ~ by unanimous
agreement council moved to take the meeting to the fire house, because the
number of people c:'uld not be accomadated at the mlil.nicipal building. After
nearly four hours of debate and questioning by those in attendance, Macklin
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Karrer seconded. All
voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance. The meeting then moved back
to the mibicipal building. lIlUirfield verbally agreed to change commercial dO'ID
to Brand Rd, by making 300 feet North of Brand Rd back to rpen space.
Resolution 10-73 dealing with setting time and Dlace for public hearing on
proposed amendments to zoning code was introduced by Karrer and read for the
first time. Geese moved to dispense with the three time reamng rule, second
bv Coffman. All voted in favor of the motion and the resolution.
Ordinance 32-73 dealing with an amendment to Ordinance 19-68 reg::lrding fees
for building inspection by the Dublin building inspector was introduced
by Coffman and read fort he first time. Karrer moved to dispense with the
three time reading rule, seconded b" H-t cks. All voted in favor of the motion
and the ordinance.
Jay Vance, a policeman with the Delaware County Shefl5.t:::' I s office, appeared
before Q:) uncil for an interview for a police position with the village. An
ordinance will be drawn by the solicitor to put before the council at the next
m3eting in regard to this matter.
Council unanimously approved permission to the adminstr2tor to use the village
truck to haul sand for ball diamonds at the school, as the diamonds will be
used in the summer recreation nrogram.
