The ~ay 7, 1973, meeting of the Village of Dublin council was called to order
by Mayor Joseph Dixon. Roll call as follows: Charles Coffman, present; Lewis
Geese, present; Charles Hicks, present; Robert Karrer, present; Gerald Macklin,
pre sent; Bill Ulrey, preTJ8nt. The minute s of the April 16 meeting ,.,rere read.
Ulrey moved approval of the minutes, Geese seconded. All voted in favor of
approval.

Ordinance 21-73 was introduced by Coffman and read by the clerk, ordinan8e
permitting change within OLR district in ordin2uce 21-70. Karrer moved to
dispense with the three time reqding rule, Coffman seconded. All voted in favoI
of ihe motion and the ordin:::'l1ce.
Ordinance 29-73 adv rtising for bids for a tractor with back hoe and loader
was introduced by Coffman and read by the clerk. Ulrey moved to dispense with
the three time reading rule, Macklin seconded. All votea in favor of the mot-
ion and the ordinance. Sheldon to advertise for bids to be opened May 26.
Ordinance 30-73 setting a mutual agreement for police protection with Perry
Township was introduced by Geese and read by the clerk. Karrer moved to dis-
pense with the three time reading rule, Coffman seconded. All voted in favor
of the motion and the orQinance. '
Ordinance 31-73 naming Richard Leppert to the Board of Zoning Appeals to re-
place Charles Hicks was introduced by Karrer and read by the clerk. Ulrey
moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Macklin seconded. All
voted in favor of the motion an~ the ordinance.
Sheldon presented to applications for the position of surr~er recreation
supervisor. Each candid2te presented a written program proposal. Council
asked Vwt Sheldon ask the candidates, Deborah Scott and Michllel Aleshire,
to meet with the en uncil previous to the next meeting.

Karrer seconded the motion. All voted infavor of motion except Macklin, who
abstained.
Mayor sug:ested council meet with the Washington Perry Township fire board
to discuss fire and emerge~cy service to the Concord Township portion of the
village.
