The April 2, 1973, meetin~ of the Village of Dublin council was called to order
the Mayor Joseph Dixon. 011 Call: Charles Coffman, present; Lewis Geese,
present; Robert Karrer, present; Gerald Macklin, present; Robert Schontzler,
absent; Bill Ulrey, present.
The minutes of the March 19 meeting were read, Karrer moved the minutes be
approved, Coffman seconded, all present voted in favor of the motion to approve

Teh treasurers report was given by the clerk shO\ung March receipts as
$19,824.64 and expenditures as $8,702.59 showing a bnlance on March 31, 1973,
as $176,731.83

Councilman Robert Schonitzler arrived at this time.
Ordinance 15-73 known as the sign ordinance with proposed changes was read by
the clerk. After brief discussion Ulrey moved, Geese seconded that changes
be refereed to planning and zoning commission for further study of ordinance
and proposed changes. Chairman John Moffitt noted that there will be some
delay in reviewing this ordinance as several other itsIDs are before the board.
Council discussed the need to repeal old ordinance, need not to repeal, in
part or in total. Sheldon will ~rk with Rose to make recommendations and
planning and zoning will look at Columbus code as guidelines.
Ordinance 24-73 adding funeral services to ordin1ince 21-70 was introduced by
Ulrey and read by the clerk. Durin the nublic hearing John Moffitt, rep-
resenting the planning and zoning commission recommended passage of the
ordinance. Karrer moved to dispeanse with the three time re"ding rule,
Schonitzler seconded. All voted for the motion and the ordin~nce.
Ordinance 19-73 was reintroduced by Coffman. This is for improvem3nt to #745
within the village limits and village share is to be $1400.00. Macklin moved
to dispense with the three time reading rule, Geese seconded. AlII vot~d for
the motion and the ordinance.

Ordinance 21-73 amending the OLP section of ordinance 21-70 was read for the
second :~ime by the clerk.
Ordinance 26-73 for a change in zoning to PUD wns introdticedby Geese and
read by the clerk. Schonitzler moved the ordinance by referred to planning
and zoning commission, Macklin seconded, all voted in favor of the motion.
Dixon discussed a meeting with the MORPC to discuss requesting Columbus to
extend a trqnknsewer line North from Martin Road to the North corporation
limits. .R~Jackson said that if village of Dublin would go on<record
as paying the cost of extension not funded by EPA that Columbus would include
this section in their applicqtion. EPA funding is seventy five per cent.
Schonitzler objected to this saying that we could be paying for an extension
for Columbus to use in the future. Resolution 08-73 requesting the City of
Columbus to extend the trunk sewer line from Martin Road to the North limits
of the corporation and the village pay the funds not paid by EPA WoOs introdu-
ced by Geese. Ulrey m(lJed to dispense with the three time reading rule,
Karrer seconded. Coffman, yes; Geese, yes; Karrer, ~es; Macklin, yes;
Schonitzler, no; Ulrey, yes. Vote on the ordinance: GOffman, yes; Geese, yes;
Karrer, yes; Macklin, yes; Schonitzler, abstain; Ulrey, yes.
Solid tor Rose informed council that t'1e village can hire another engineer
to review plans that are submitted by a firm that the regular engineer has
helped prepare, village would need contract with second firm. Selection to
be up to council.
Robert Schonitzler announced that this would be his last meeting as he was
moving from the village and offered his resignation. Nb action taken con-
cerning a replacement.
Adminstrators report - Sheldon noted some street lights have been installed
on Coffman Road, clean up week to be announced, an application has been
received for summer recreation job, adminstrator to place ad in Forum.
Mayor Dixon declared meeting adjourned at 10:17 PM.
