Macklin introduced orminance 07-73 naming Ralph McNemar as a reserve police- man, Schontzler moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Karrer seconded, all pres~nt voted for the motion and the ordinance. Geese introduced ordinance 08-73 nammng James Hathaway as a reserve police- man, Macklin moved to dispense with threetlme reading rule, Karrer seconded, all present voted for motion and the ordina~. Sheldon presented four bids for a new police cruiser, Worthington Ford for $3774.00, Norman Smith Motors for $3406.00, Westside Dodge for $3598.80 and George Byers sons for $3482.95. Sheldon recommended council accept bid of Norman Smith Motors for a Dodge. Karrer introduced ordinance 09-73 accepting bid of Norman Smith Motors of $3406.00 for a 1973 Dodge, Schontzler moved to dispense with the three time reading rule, Macklin seconded, all present voted for motion and the ordinance.
