The regular meeting of the council of the Village of Dublin, OHio, was held on
January 8, 1973 with Mayor Joe Dixon presiding.
Roll Call: Coffman, present; Geese, present; Karrer, absent; Macklin, present;
Schontxler, present; Ulrey, present.
The minutes of the December 18 meeting were read, Coffman moved, Macklin
seconded that minutes be approved as read. Coffman, yes; Geese, yes; Karrer,
abs; Macklin, yes; Schontzler, yes; Ulrey, yes.

Mayor Dixon presented H. A. Termeer Sr's resignation as L _l., clerk and
announced the appointi,,',ent of Richard Termeer as village clerk. Council accep-
ted H. A. Termeer's resignation.

Coffman moved payment of the bills, Geese seconded. Coffman, yes; Geese, yes;
Karrer, abs; Macklin, yes; Schontzler, yes; Ulrey, yes.
Dixon asked for nominations for council president. Macklin nominated Bill
Ulrey, Geese seconded. Coffman moved nominations be closed, Schontzler se-
conded. Ulrey named council president.

Ordinance 03-73 r.nming Sherman Sheldon, Sam Franz, Richard Royce, Joe King,
and Andrew Smith to architecture review board was introduced by Geese.
Schontzler moved, Macklin seconded. that council dispense with the three time
reading rule, all members present voted in favor of the motion and the
ordinance.
Ordinance 04-73 making temporary appropriations totaling $59,400.00 was intre-
duced by Schontzler. Macklin moved, Coffman seconded that council dispense
with the three time reading rule, all members present voted in favor on mo-
tion and the ordinance.
Ordinance 05-73 authorizing village adminstrator to advertise for bids for
a 1973 new police cruiser was introduced by Macklin. Schontzler moved,
Macklin seconded that council dispense with the three time teading rule, all
members voted in favor of the motion and the ordinance.
Adminstrators report Sheldon suggested council reject all bids for the curb
improvements a corner of High and Bridge streets. Schontzler moved, Macklin
seconded that council reject all bids for the improvement project at corner
of state routes #33 and #745. All mambers present voted yes.
Council discussed armexation, water, ,and sewers. Macklin suggested that when
a new area is officially annexed to the villagethat the village adminstrator
send a letter to all new residents explaining trash pick up and listing the
village officials and village phone numbers. Council agreed that the ad-
minstrator should prepare and send such letters.
Building code Schontzler moved, Macklin seconded that the village building
code be sent to the planning and zoning commission for recommendations.
All members present voted in favor.
