A RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS
TO THE DUBLIN COMMUNITY PLAN STEERING COMMITTEE,
AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, council has determined that the community Plan shall be updated;
and
WHEREAS, citizen participation in a community plan is an essential
component of the planning process; and
WHEREAS, council has determined that a Community Plan steering Committee
shall be appointed, comprised of representatives of council, Planning and
Zoning commission, the business community, Dublin City Schools and other
interested citizens of Dublin.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Dublin, State
of Ohio, -=2-- of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. The following persons are hereby appointed to the Dublin
Community Plan steering Committee:
David King, Chr. Business representative
Edith Driscoll, V.Chr. Citizen representative
Joel Campbell Dublin City Council
Denise Franz King Dublin City Council
Judi Stillwell Dublin City Council
Warren Fishman Planning and Zoning Commission
John Ferrara Planning and zoning commission
Robert Hughes Business representative
Patrick Grabill Business representative
Jessie Evert Dublin Schools representative
Larry Vance Citizen representative
Kathy Gardner citizen representative
Morton O'Kelly Citizen representative
Myron Terlecky Citizen representative
Elaine Kehoe Citizen representative
Michael Baker Citizen representative
Section 2. The duties of the members of the Steering Committee will be:
( a) to provide impartial representation of the citizens of Dublin
throughout the Community Plan process;
(b) to provide a vision statement based on the public input sessions;
(c) to assist with policy direction of the Plan;
( d) to be responsible for preparation and review of all elements of the
Plan in a timely manner; and
(e) to provide quarterly updates to City Council.
Section 3. The members herein appointed shall serve on the steering
Committee until adoption of the Dublin community Plan by City Council.
Section 4. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
necessary for the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further
reason that the appointments to the Steering Committee must be completed
in order to facilitate the public process for the Community Plan.
