The regular meeting of the Dublin Council was held at the Municipal
Building at 8 o'clock on Nov. 6, 1972 with Mayor Dixon preaiding.
Roll call found the following members present: Coffman, present; Geese
present; Karrer, present; Macklin, present; Schontzler, present; Ulrey,
present.

There w~s a discussion on the storm ditches on Marion, Longview and Grand-
view streets. Council decided to grade the ditch in:i.:'front of the McCoy
residence on Marion Street, under the supervision of the Mayor and Admin-
istrator.
It was moved by Macklin ~nd seconded by Schontzler to refer the suggested
revision of the zoning code to the Planning ~nd Zoning committee for
consideration. Voting as follows: Coffman, yes; Geese, yes; Karrer, yes;
Macklin, yes; Schontzler, yes; Ulrey, yes.
Mayor Dixon propesed that the villa'e establish the position of electrical
inspector. Councilmen asked Mr. Dixon to check with other communities
in the county to see how they handle such work.
The Administrator Las authorized to :eesp' nd to the Franklin County com-
missioners request for informa.tion regarding the vilL:.ge' s ability to prov de
police a.nd fire protection, and water and sewer services to a 3,952 acres
tract north of the village, known as Muirfield,being considered for
annexation.
The Administrator gave his report.
