WHEREAS, the City of Dublin is preparing to extend Emerald Parkway between
Perimeter Drive and Innovation Drive and improve related traffic circulation; and
WHEREAS, said improvement will require the City of Dublin to obtain a fee simple
interest in and to the premises described in the attached Exhibit "A" located in the City
of Dublin, Franklin County, Ohio.
NOW THEREFeRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council, of the City of Dublin,
State of Ohio, of the elected members concurring that:
Section 1. Council considers it necessary and declares its intention to appropriate,
for the purpose of extending Emerald Parkway between Perimeter Drive and
Innovation Drive, a fee simple interest in and to the premises located in the City of
Dublin, Ohio, and more fully described in the legal description attached hereto as
Exhibits "A".
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to cause written notice of the
passage of this Resolution to be served upon the owners and persons in possession or
having an interest of record in the above-described property. This notice shall be
served according to law.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after the
earliest date permitted by law.

Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Franklin, City of Dublin, and being part of a
40.21 acre tract conveyed to Carol S. & Merle H. Kennedy by deed of record in Deed
Book 2237, Page 213 of the Franklin County Recorder's Office and being more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin set at the southeasterly comer of the said 40.21 acre
tract, also the southeasterly comer of a roadway easement granted to the State
of Ohio in Deed Book 2665, Page 524, said point being the true point of
beginning of the tract described herein:
Thence N 87025'00" W, along the southerly line of the said 40.21 acre tract and
the said roadway easement, 7.10 feet to an iron pin set;
Thence N 87034'31" W. along the southerly line of the said 40.21 acre tract and
the said roadway easement, 600.58 feet to an iron pin set;
Thence N 02025'29" E, 60.00 feet to an iron pin found on the northerly line of the
