Ihe regular meeting of the Dublin Village Council was held at 8:00 PM at the
municipal building with Mayor Joseph Dixon presiding.

Macklin,present,Schontzler,present, and Ulrey,present.

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Mr. Coffman moved, seconded by r~. Geese that the bills be paid. Vote thereon
was unanimous.
Ordinance 20-72 dealing with appoi~ment of R Hayes as a Policeman was read
for the second time. Mr. Karrer moved, seconded by Mr. Geese to dispense with
the three time reading rule. Vote on the notion was COffman,yes,Geese,yes,
Karrer,yes,Macklin,yes, Schontzler,NO and Ulrey,yes. Vote on the Ordinanoe
was COffman,yes,Geese,yes,Karrer,yes,Macklin,yes,Schontzler,ABSTAIN, and Ulrey,
yes. Ordinance passed.
Ordinance 23-72 dealing with re-issuance of Monterey storm ditch Note was intrc-
duced by Mr. Geese. The ordinance was read for the first time. Mr. Macklin moved,
seoonded by 1~. Karrer to dispense with the three time reading rule. Vote on
the motion and the ordinance was unanimous.
Mrs. Blanton of Longview Drive appeared before Council in regard to speeding
motorcycles on Longview Drive. Council reccomrnended some actions to be initiatec
to discourage the speeding.
A small group of Youths and Adults were present in regard to the "AWAREN~SS PR(~RAM
and after lisening to their reports 1~. Schontzler moved that the Village
of Dublin Officials should go on record as supporting the Awareness Committees
plans for programs and recreation for the Youths of the Washin~ton Local Schoo
District in every way possible. The motion was seoonded by Mr. Coffman and Counoil
approved inanimously.
Meeting adjourned.
Other items were discussed, but no action taken at this meeting.
