Dear Mrs. Clark,
For the past two years, The Dublin Division of Police as applied for and received grant
money from the Ohio D.A.R.E. Grants Program. The D.A.R.E. Grants Program is funded through
proceeds from license reinstatement fees charged by the State Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The
D.A.R.E. Grant Fund is administered by the Ohio Attorney General's Office. This is a matching-
fund grant and the monies may only be used for the salaries of certified D.A.R.E. Officers. This
year, we will again apply for matching-funds for our D.A.R.E. program. A resolution authorizing
and supporting the application for grant money, from Dublin City Council, is a required part of
the grant application. I would like to ask for your assistance in preparing such a resolution and
getting it on the council agenda. I need to have the resolution by June 13th.! have been unable
to locate a copy of any of the previous resolutions regarding the Ohio D.A.R.E Grant application.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
