I: WHEREAS, the Annual Memorial tournament is scheduled at the Muirfield Village ,

Ii Golf Club from May 28,2001 through June 3, 2001; and

II WHEREAS, it is the opinion of Dublin City Council that traffic would be better 1
I
ii controlled by regulating traffic on Muirfield Drive and other roads in Muirfield, I

thereby ensuring the health, safety and welfare of City residents; and

;1 WHEREAS, Dublin City Council also desires to waive certain provisions ofthe sign

code in order to facilitate traffic movement and to provide directional signage I

regarding the Memorial Tournament; and I

II NOW, THEREF6, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Dublin, I

State of Ohio, of the members concurring that: I

ii Section 1. Muirfield Drive and all other roads in Muirfield are to be closed to all

II traffic except as authorized by the City Manager and Chief of Police of the City of I
I

Dublin, Ohio, during the hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday, May 28 through I

II Sunday, June 3, 200l. I

I Section 2. In the further interest of the public health, safety and welfare there shall

~--~ II be no parking by Tournament attendees and others associated with these events on

:: any street or cul-de-sac in Muirfield Village except those streets designated as i

'I approved parking areas by the City Manager, Chief of Police or their designee. I

II Section 3. Applicable provisions of the Dublin sign code are hereby waived in order [

'I to facilitate traffic movement and direct out of town visitors to these events. I
